Caesars represents
the epitome of gaming in Atlantic City. Already one of the nicest
casinos in town, Caesars recently completed a $280 million
restoration of their facilities. The new 120,231 square foot
casino gives Caesars one of the largest contiguous gaming spaces
in Atlantic City. The renovation also included the addition of the
fabulous Temple Lobby and The Grand Fountain located on the corner
of Pacific and Missouri Avenues.
One of the most impressive additions to Caesars is the faux sky
as seen in Caesars Forum in Las Vegas. This attraction has to be
seen in order to be believed. Through the use of fiber optics and
cold cathode neon lighting, the ceiling resembles a nighttime sky
with over 12,000 points of light. The renovations earned Caesars
the Gold Medallion Award from Casino Executive magazine, so it’s
worth at least a quick look.
The gaming at Caesars is a good mixture of slots and table
games. It’s generally geared towards high-rollers as there are
not that many low-limit tables. The recent renovation doubled the
size of the slot area, so there are numerous options for slots
fans. The second floor has a small area for poker and ponies, but
all the action is on the main floor.
Aside from it’s fabulous facilities and entertainment
options, Caesars has a big Planet Hollywood branch and is located
only one block from the Ocean One Mall.
