The Atlantic City Hilton has undergone many name changes over the years. In the beginning. it was called the Golden Nugget and was owned by current owner of Mirage Resorts, Steve Wynn. Bally's purchased the property from Mr. Wynn, who then used that money to build his Mirage casino. The name then became Bally's Grand and stayed that way until 1997 when Hilton purchased Bally's. This is when its received its current name The Atlantic City Hilton. In the past year, Hilton has competed a brand new tower offering hundreds of new rooms. The Hilton is known for its quality service and extraordinary entertainment. This is more of an upscale casino and is priced accordingly. There is no longer a poker room, but there is still a place to bet on the horses. Expect to see high limits at the tables. Not the place to play for the casual $5 black jack player.
