 The
Showboat is located on the Boardwalk and Delaware Ave., and is the
last casino in the stretch, reaching into the questionable inlet
of Atlantic City. Although Harrah's has recently purchased the
Showboat, there have been no major changes to its theme or facade.
The Mississippi Riverboat theme still exists, complete with
authentic-looking design and love performances. Although the
Showboat doesn't feature any headliner entertainment, they do have
continuous live and free performances at the New Orleans Square
bandstand located near the boardwalk entrance. Another
entertaining attraction here is the Mardi Gras Cats, a $3.1
million seven-piece band of computerized musicians. Be sure to
stop by the only bowling alley in Atlantic City.
